The sisal MAT is a keeper! My six cats love it and prefer it. No more messy sisal rope, carpet fibers, etc. as with other scratching posts! The post is sturdy with a broad base and tall enough for my largest cat. Also, not coming apart as with other materials on my other posts.

My l-o-n-g bodied Bengal cat, Princess Petunia the Jet, simply could not be happy with the standard height and materials in most scratching posts. I tried everything to get her to stop stretching and scratching on my woodwork and carpets to no avail until we got her new Purrfect Post. She took to it right away and loves it! She "demonstrates" it to me every morning when I go to feed her and likes to sit on top of it like a statue; (a 12 lb. statue). Thank you form making such a sturdy and cat-a-lishous post for our beloved pets!
