53. Couldn't be happier

    Just replaced the post after many years of use that eventually scratched through to the threads. My cat was as thrilled as I was to have the replacement. He spent a good long time scratching after I did the simple replacement of the older post. It's back to looking beautiful again. You can truly be comfortable having this sharp looking post in your living room. It puts all those carpet-covered scratching devices to shame. Nothing like it, nothing better. Well worth the many years of satisfaction for me and my cat for the investment in such a well made, long/lasting product.

    My cat Dickie (now 14 yo) is on her 3rd post in about 8 or 10 years. She enjoys me watching her to try to destroy it--obviously it takes her a while.

    Have bought at least 3 repacementioned posts. They last many years. There are Chinese knock-offs at the big box pet stores, but this is made in USA and supports a small business. High quality, good long term value, and my cat cannot live without it.

    We have used these posts for years, at least the cats have.We have a 20lb plus cat and 2 others who use these. We have 2 in the house and one of these was an outdoor cat for her first 2 years. The post lasts for a long time and are easily replaced with one screw that is provided. If there is a better post I would like to know about it. We live on the east coast and these get to us very fast.We also have 2 in the house at a time. If they seem to be expensive you are wrong. They last a long, long time. All others are a waste of money. I did not get a reimbursement for my opinion.
