Great product, but.....

This particular post was actually a replacement for one that suddenly broke. The part where it screws into the base had broken (particle board piece separated and couldn't be fixed). Our cats love it and it was disappointing that it came apart like that. Otherwise, great products!

Purrfect post is the Cat's Meow. Everything is as it should be . Great materials and sizes, tall enough and sturdy. Replacement parts are a real honest plus to their line.
The round shape is more natural for the cats.
They last and are not ugly.
Nice to support a small American business that answeres the phone and are friendly.

I bought a replacement post for an older one that was getting frayed. I have bought a number of replacement posts from Purrfect Post over many years. The posts last a good long time—years— before two cats manage to shred them. My cats love this post!

This is THE best scratching post. I have 2 cats who love this post. My male cat is on the larger size and this is perfect for him to really reach and scratch. My female loves reaching and scratching the base. The post is very high (length wise) sturdy and heavy, so it gives cats a good stretch, doesn't wooble or move easily (which is why I believe my cats like it so much...reminds them of furniture). I just replaced the scratching component, and its like the scratching post is as good as new. This item really is a must in any cat household. Worth every penny!
