Just what the headline says. Durable as iron, nice to look at even after years of clawing, and well made.

I bought the purrfectpost in preparation for my new rescue cat Lilou. I had done a lot of research about scrathing posts and tried to find the one that would be most likely to save my berber carpet and furniture. I placed it at the entrance of the living room, rubbed some of the catnip included with the post, and hopef for the best. I am happy to say that Lilou went straight for it the first time she entered the room and has so far not even looked at my couch or chair, and the carpet remains untouched!
The purrfect post is sturdy, steady and looks pretty good (considering how ugly some scratch posts can be). I am very happy I made the investment and highly recommend it.

As soon as Purrfect Post was out of the box, Dexter went right for it! It doesn't have to be positioned against a wall to be steadied like other scratch posts. Dex is a very large cat and the post is so sturdy even he can't topple it. It's also a nice looking piece of furniture that would fit into any room. This post is a must have for every cat. One last point - Purrfect Post customer service is excellent - they shipped to Canada in less than a week!!! We highly recommend this product.

My two Flame Point Siamese (Ebeneezer and Cornelius) love the post!! They had been going to town on my chair and I had to wise up that I needed to provide something else for them to scratch. When I saw the Purrfect Post Deluxe, I decided to take a chance. The boys went for it immediately and have learned what "scratcher" means. They do still try to claw the chair out of habit sometimes but the post is way more fun and the chair scratching has diminished greatly. The post is top notch quality and I am going to be buying another for upstairs. Thank you!!!
