The shorter post height remains the same as it is on the original View while the top perch is higher, creating extra space between the two perches. This produces a more tree-like experience because cats love to jump on the shorter perch (the first branch) and stretch up the post (tree trunk) to scratch, then jump up to the top (the higher branch) and take a nap.

Amazing Products: Quality, Durable, Beautiful

Amazing products, so glad we found them. With the exception of the Sisal material being treated with Fire Retardant (I believe this was required by California, as they have laws about & for everything), it was one of the best purchases we have made for our pets/loved one. So many things are made in China nowadays are poisonous &/or toxic. This is American Made, employing workers in the USA - now that is something we want to see. The quality is second to none, & the design is everything we would want & hope for. Rugged, Sturdy, Beautiful, Worth the Price. Not Cheap for cost, but you are getting your monies worth. We would recommend this product, & are very lucky we found it. Delivery went well, package arrived safely, minor assembly was easy. Thank you Purrfectpost! BTW: We purchased the Purrfect View: Everest Edition, (Sisal Color: Original, Select View Base Stain Color: Light Wood, Select View Top Configuration: Deep Brown Bed, Added Muffin Blanket Large Truffle/Mocha Latte.

The BEST Cat Scratcher!!

WOW What an amazing product. We purchased the Everest Scratcher for our cat "Houdini" and she absolutely loves it. The high perch is her new favorite spot and she scratches on both posts daily, It literally saved our Sofa's! I was amazed at the quality of the materials and construction, very well built and easy to assemble. We will probably get another soon!

I have been a professional pet sitter for over 26 years and Purrrfect Post makes the best product available. We used to get carpeted trees from PetSmart but after a few years they needed replaced and made a mess. The cats LOVE the sturdy scratchers and base and all the cats rotate using the big bed on top. I recently added the Everest Edition to help my oldest get to the top. Easy to assemble and very solid and stable. Don't waste your money on inferior products. Definitely worth the money. And when it's time to replace a component the old one fits in the trash bin.
