Best post on the market

It's tall, sturdy, heavy, and very well-made. I have two cats and they love it. It doesn't tip over when they jump on it or down from it. They both managed to fit in the bed on top together. They love sleeping on top and scratching the post. It looks great in my living room.

The Mondo Post was as advertised - solidly built, attractive, and very appealing to our Maine Coon. Until we bought this post/bed, the only item that allowed Skipper to fully stretch and scratch was the back of the recliner. All other posts were too short or too unstable for him to truly exercise. Now the chair is spared and the cat is content. A win-win!

I have a Maine Coon and he's very large (25lbs.) so I figured I was going to have to buy the largest one they sold, I did and he loves it... he sleeps on the bed thing on the top of the scratch post and he never comes down now. We'll worth the $215... only problem was, they did not pack my post well and fedex did not handle it with care at all...the box was so beat up and the wooden base is cracked...which I am pissed off about for the money, you guys could've at least put the wooden base in styrofoam for the kind of money your customers dish out for a "cat scratcher". Also the post is sturdy, but not so sturdy that it won't topple over, well at least for my cat it's not the most sturdy... if you have a smaller cat than mine, you should be fine.
It really is the purrfect post!

I've ordered a scratching post at this site before because all the store ones I bought would tip over under the weight of my 15lbs cat. Purrfect Post was well worth the money, my cat loves it and I've now had it for 5 years. Now I have 3 cats so I bought the Mondo Deluxe. My kitten (which is already 11lbs) absolutely loves it. I put it together yesterday and he slept in it all night. All three of my cats have scratched this post simultaneously and the post didn't even budge. If you want a good quality post that can stand up to all sized cats, Purrfect Post is the place to shop. The fact that they are made in the US is also a plus. Also, if the post or the base get worn out, all you have to do is replace the part, not the entire unit. I will definitely buy here again.
